What it doesn't tell you, is that it is a piece of cake if you're a
moonkin. Luckily, she doesn't poison you, or it wouldn't be so
convenient Smile

I got mine boots yesterday, had to kill her about 7 times for the boots
to drop. Very reliable killing, I was killed just 3 times in the
beginning when I pulled surrounding mobs (need to stay close to her)
and one time by the Mother when she resisted hibernate 3 times in a
row. The only consumable I used was runecloth bandages, my spirit is
high so it was enough to hibernate her 2 times in a row for 40 sec to
get full mana again.

I found this guide after i had figured it out myself. Took several tries trying to kill her in bear form. Best i could manage to get her to was 30%. I tried hibernating her once when i was almost dead and it worked. I died soon after but molded it what is pretty much described in the guide. While moonkin/balance specced druids will have the easiest time farming Mother Smolderweb, it is possible to do specced resto or feral (which is what i did it as). All about mana and health management with a dash of patience since it takes a while to kill her. Also, if you have points put into feral for better prowling capabilities, it'll help you get past some of the tougher spots.
