|
|
Recently we have been discussing (the officers, myself and a few others) the division of the guild into two entities... A Higher/Lower guild. The higher guild (L50-60/L55-60) for End Game / Near End Game content and the others for normal instances and questing. This is going to be a guild decision. What I would like to do now is open it to the General Guild for discussion.
Please share your thoughts here and lets see what everyone has to say.

| If this is what it takes, I am behind it 100%. I am tired of waiting month after month after month to be able to do MC and all the rest, and I know that I am not the only person who can't wait anymore. Plus when lower levels get up to 60 they will have an endgame experienced guild that will be ready to get them into endgame right away. One thing I will say though is that something NEEDS to happen and it needs to happen now. Wether it be this or something else, this wait had to come to an end. |

| Hey guys I am all for this. I don't want to have to go hunting for a high end guild when I hit 60. I would rather be in place now and not have to worry about it. I know from other peoples experiences that this is really the ideal way, instead of having to apply to other guilds and hope and pray that they let you in. So in my opinion lets do it. |

| I support this idea 100%. We have to get the ball rolling or else its gonna pop. We have waited a LONG time to see endgame. Let's do it right this time. |

If that is what it is going to take to help the guild then I am all for it. I know that as for myself, I hate feeling like I am slowing everyone down by not leveling as fast as others. I think that having a split like this may for the best. I love you guys but just don't have the time to play as much as I would like. I will get to 60 but it will just take time. _________________

| im for it, i want cool gear, it really bothers me to see others walking around with neat purple stuff. I hope it will also help encourage others to hurry to reach 60 |

I'm for it too, but I'd also like to see some feedback from those who still have a long way to go till level 60 (*harump* lowbies *harump*). We must be very clear and open-minded about this division, so no one feels 'abandoned' or such. Really nice people had joined the guild these past weeks, and we need them to voice their opinions about that. Maybe a specific 'message of the day'?
Anyway, I feel that this division would be healthier than losing a lot of good people to other edgame guilds. _________________ Olgnar L60 Warrior

Okay, so you wanted feedback from a newbie.
Truth is, I've only been playing WoW for about two weeks, so even terms like "endgame" are a bit foreign to me. I have yet to see it officially recorded just what, as a guild member, my short-term and long-term goals should be.
That said, I'm happy to be in this guild and wish that to continue. I don't know that I would like to see a true "split", but I would like to see someone(s), who has gone the whole route, head up an ATPB Academy. Something like that might give us the kind of division that we need. The richer higher-ups could even pay them a WoW sallary so that they are not penalized too much for devoting time to training up-and-comers. Even a rotation could be discussed.
Education is power. If a little effort to bring well-trained guild members up to Lev 60 with a knowledge of what to do when they get there could pay off for the entire guild.

sounds good!
but, what will happen with the lowbie part of the guild? do we have a good way to have control it by officers and such? Also, make sure that the higher end of the guild isnt the only one that would benefit! For instance, you could make a separate raid schedule for the lowbie end, as well as having the BFD and UBRS endgame stuff for the higher lvls. ti will not only keep the guild balanced, but give the lower lvls a chance to enjoy the game without wanting to rush to the 50-60 part of the guild.
Hopefully, this little post will help your decision. Remember: Its up to you. _________________ Iridior-70 warrior

I'm not in favor of a split guild. I started low in the guild and higher members were there to help me. Now that I am higher level I want to be there to help lower level guild members. But that's just my opinion.

The Guild Split will NOT occur at this time. In light of recent events and other reasons, I believe its best we stick together and show everyone that the Palace is a force to be reckoned with _________________ Guten

a good choice, in light of certain events.
Perhaps one day, but until that point, as a guild, we should be one entity.
