As The Palace Burns

Well, if my memory is correct, this month marks the 1 year anniversary of As The Palace Burns. Congratz!

I thought it would be interesting to learn a little about this guild and it's members. So if you would like to mention how you came into this guild, post it here.

For me, this was my 2nd guild. I came from WAR, which I believe is where this guild had it's initial concept (I'm sure someone will correct or confirm this). I became a member on day 2. Although I cannot remember what level I joined (I believe it was in the 20s or teens) I did hit 60 here. And, yes, I still remember the day when I got my guild tabard and saw the black with skeletal bones (The Loch, grouped with Grethik lol).

I came from Oh Snap because I was the only Lowbie in the guild, weeelll everyone else was L60 or close and I was in the early 40s if I remember right. haha

I signed up after Nolith kept nagging me to join, making this my 3rd guild. Glad I did!

well, It will be a year for me at Christmas, but I joined the guild through my sister, who was helped by Clif on her pally quest! After her recommendation that I join, i talked to Clif, who signed me up, and i have been here since!

I will stay in the guild until kingdom come (or it gets disbanded, or whatever. GOD FORBID)! Its been cool to get to know everyone here, and for those that dont know me, I hope we get to group with each other, and have some good times.

As for me, Its the same as Stonehauss. I also came from We Are Retrabution (WAR), I was invite into WAR by Jughearth (I think he quit WoW, I'v yet to find him =P) after I helped him with an escort quest in the Loch, (I was lvl 16 at the time) and he asked if I could join, and I could! Then after WAR was disbanded, I look up Guten and asked If I could join the new guild (ATPB) lol, and so, here I am. God that was long... Cool

Disband? Hush your mouth! lol...seriously it has been that long? wow...Well I can tell you from my side it has been a blast.

As with every guild we have had our share of drama, and good times, and bad times and good times...and did I mention good times (Nekkid Deadmine runs) I am very proud that we are all still having fun with it!

Thanks to EVERYONE because you all are what makes it worth signing into for.

woot! 1 year mark! we rock... do we not? Well for me this was my first guild ever! i know, i know, im cool. but yea i met Clif through Gnometastic right as WAR was falling apart. so i was talking to him as he formed ATPB, so i was even a guild charter signer! thats right i was one of the people who signed our guild charter! which strangely enough that makes me feel old for some reason... i feel like an old grandpa talking about the civil war... "I was out there on the battlefeild..." haha well enough of that. i know im weird... but its why you all love me! am i right? am i right? ok thats enough typing for me.

I came into the palace prolly about 6months ago. i had been in to guilds before i even hit 10. but neither of them worked out for me. then i was talking to dustn(Xalin) and he said i should join the palace and then i got a invite so i plan to stay in the palace and congratz all to 1 year

Wow i guess it has been a year. I too was a member of WAR and got the invite to transfer over from Squirly and Sev.. I miss them. Oh and Stone to refresh your memory it was in Wetlands right around 20-22 when we made the move.

It was different for me. I was destined to join the guild before I even played WoW. I was out in S. Carolina visiting Degen and his family (and met Clif, I might add.) At that time I observed them playing WoW and decided to check it out when I got back home. So, because of that you got stuck with me and Rildo and Monkeycheeze. Smile

ummm as most of you know, I became familiar with Palace people through my bad naughty daughter Sciionn, and my best friend's bad naughty son, Baul. I met Clif when he was torturing the dragon in Darkshire and driving everyone nuts....you know the dragon that won't shut up...ya him. I was initially a guild leader myself, the small elite "Phases of the Moon" lol, but as my soon to be ex husband and best friends helped form Alliance Elites and Alliance Optimus, I fell in that camp for awhile, till the drama got too intense...then I fell to my knees and begged Clif to let me in Palace...well...he begged me...something like that . I have been quite happy here every since and though I have had mucho offers from friends, I am sticking right where I'm at. Love you Guys!!
